U.K. TV station hiring young journalists & interns
Channel 4, a public television station in the United Kingdom, is offering paid 10-week internships and a year-long training program in television production and journalism.
The training program provides 12 months of on-the-job training in TV or new media production and pays £17,000. Deadline to apply is April 30.
Seven paid internships are also available, and it runs from August 9 to October 15. "Your background, age and qualifications aren't as important as your potential," the ad states. Applications open in May.
