Entry-level multimedia journalist trainee program @ newspaper chain
E. W. Scripps, which owns newspapers and interactive operations in 14 markets nationwide, is now offering a fellowship program for young journalists.
The 24-week paid program includes positions as multimedia journalists, online producers, web developers, web design/user experience specialists and copy editors/page designers. Assistance with relocation expenses of up to $500 will be provided.
Through guidance from management, fellows will develop a broad understanding of newspaper and online operations. Upon successful conclusion of the fellowship, participants will be eligible to apply for available full-time positions within the Newspaper Division of The E.W. Scripps Company.
