Paid internships @ NYC newspaper

The Queens Chronicle, a 160,000-circulation newspaper in New York City, seeks interns for its Rego Park newsroom.

Internship candidates should have a strong desire to blaze a career path in journalism, while gaining an understanding of how a newsroom operates. Interns will write articles for the paper and take photographs, along with various other newsroom duties 2 days per week. Candidates should be adept at writing in AP style and working with an editor. An ability to function well on deadline in a busy environment is a definite plus. $500 stipend will be paid at the end of 12 weeks.
