RECEPTIONIST – 77 WABC & 95.5 WPLJ / JOB CODE 7795REC
77 WABC and 95.5 WPLJ are seeking a receptionist. This is a terrific entry level position in a very competitive industry! Responsibilities include answering and routing all incoming calls for four radio stations (two other stations share our office space), greeting visitors, accepting and signing for all packages, handling incoming faxes, conference room scheduling, and assisting all departments with miscellaneous projects. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining a great attitude and sense of humor. Opportunity to train as a sales assistant. College degree, computer skills (MS Word / email; familiarity with other programs a plus) with one year office experience preferred. Hours are 8:30AM to 5PM Monday to Friday.

PART TIME BOARD OPERATORS – 77 WABC / JOB CODE 77BDOP
77 WABC in New York City is seeking part-time board operators to work all shifts. “Board Ops” oversee technical operations in the control room. Duties include air commercials as per the commercial log; play local elements such as station IDs, promos, liners, rejoins per instruction; set and monitor live stream on wabcradio.com; sign on/off transmitter log and take readings every 2 hours, make ISDN connections and change settings; and route audio feeds for remote broadcasts. Requirements:
• Operate a mixing board with multiple components
• Knowledge of ISDN equipment
• Knowledge and familiarity with ENCO or similar system
• Proficiency with Cool Edit recording / editing software
• Team player with great attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Reliable and punctual
Some experience in a similar position or significant internship experience at a radio station preferred. As 77 WABC is a 24/7/365 operation, board ops will be asked to work late nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.

GENERAL SALES MANAGER – 95.5 WPLJ / JOB CODE 95GSM
Here is a rare opportunity to work for the greatest radio station in the country, the legendary 95.5 WPLJ in New York City. This position requires strong leadership ability, excellent analytical and organizational skills, proven track record of developing new business and achieving revenue goals while out-pacing the market. We are looking for a dynamic, motivating sales leader who can train and grow our staff of seasoned sales professionals to the next level. Duties include but are not limited to: Planning and organizing the sales department, staffing, creating and managing revenue and expense budgets, understand and institute strong yield management systems, generate local and direct business and establish and maintain strong client relationships. Exceptional strategic planning skills are critical. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. 5+ years in broadcast sales management.

This is a highly coveted and rare opportunity in the sales and advertising department of Citadel Broadcasting NYC. This job involves more than just selling spots. We are looking for aggressive and passionate professionals who have the confidence, drive and desire to work among the best and are capable of creating marketing campaigns. This position is directly responsible for acquiring new clients and advertisers for the stations. We are looking for energetic self-starters who are proactive in driving revenue, increasing client base and selling marketing solutions.
