News assistant job @ Buffalo TV station

YNN Buffalo seeks a news assistant. Will be responsible for going out in the field to shoot video and sound bites, to interview and obtain information in order to accurately and thoroughly report a story, and assist the reporters.

College Degree with a major in journalism or communication preferred or equivalent experience. Candidates should have 1-2 experience in news gathering or related field. Knowledge of Western New York also desired.
