Paid writing internship @ D.C. restaurant website

Restaurantbar.com is looking to fill our writing intern position. We are a leader in dining
service marketing and looking for a new addition to our creative, energetic team.

Tasks/Opportunities:
• Primary responsibility will be writing articles and features for restaurantbar.com
• Other writing task will include marketing materials, reviews and more.
• Improve research, writing skills, and build broad portfolio of online writing samples
• Opportunity to be published on large website and magazine
• Make your own hours but strict goals and deadlines must be met

Ideal Candidate:
• Creative, self motivated, detail oriented
• Skilled in news reporting, research, and journalistic writing for articles, and press
releases (experience writing video scripts, marketing materials, social media
postings, and/or Web content a plus)
• Undergraduate or graduate studies in journalism or communications (experience
writing for a student newspaper and/or previous professional internships in a
related field a plus)

Paid or class credit internship available.
