$2,000 scholarship for reporting on texting-n-driving
Use your journalism skills to educate your classmates about the No. 1 killer of teens – car crashes – and the dangers of texting while driving.
You could win up to $2,000 for your entry in the third annual Keep the Drive High School Journalism Awards!
It’s easy to enter, all you have to do is:
- Write an article about the dangers of texting while driving and get it published in your high school paper. Scan and submit your published article with your print application by March 1, 2011.
OR
- Write and produce a broadcast story in a journalistic style about the dangers of texting while driving and have it air on your student television network. Upload it to YouTube and submit the link with your broadcast application by March 1, 2011.
