Journalism scholarship & internship for Ohio students

High school seniors who live in Ohio and are interested in a journalism career can apply for the annual Si Burick Journalism Scholarship. The $2,000 scholarship goes toward first-year college tuition. Winners also can participate in the Mickey Davis Summer Internship program available to recipients during their four years in college.

Students in Montgomery, Greene, Miami, Butler, Shelby, Darke, Preble and Warren counties are eligible. The application process is now online. Interested students should go to http://siburick.daytondailynews.com to apply. All applications must be submitted by March 31.
