Paid internship @ New York City newspaper

The Queens Tribune, a 146,000-circulation free weekly newspaper in NYC's Queens borough, is seeking a handful of interns looking to get their foot in the door in journalism. 3-month internship includes a modest stipend and college credit is available.

Our interns will work covering meetings, writing stories, taking photos and helping out in the newsroom. Candidates will be expected to work at least three days a week, will have to be adept at meeting deadlines and must have a working knowledge of AP style.
