Paid summer internships @ Birmingham News
The Birmingham News, a 150,000-circulation daily newspaper in Alabama, is offering paid summer internships.
The 10-week internships are open to journalists who can report for print and online, use social media to get the news out first and help pull together complete packages for our newspaper and our website. Applicants must plan to continue their education in the fall. Candidates who have had a previous internship are preferred.
To apply, send examples of your best work, for print and for online, and explain why you're the right person for an internship.
Send materials by the end of February to:
Chuck Clark, managing editor
