Staff writer job @ D.C. conservancy magazine

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy seeks a part-time, temporary staff writer for its publications, which includes a website and magazine. Job is 20 hour per week (days are flexible) and based in Washington, D.C.

Duties: assist the Communications team with production of all communications materials and publications; short and extended Web and print features, including for Rails to Trails magazine and website; and assist with other internal and external communications as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, PR/marketing, or creative writing; two years writing experience; must be familiar with Associated Press Style; excellent communication and organizational skills with little supervision; and attention to detail.
