Paid investigative & documentary journalism internship

CNN is offering paid internships this summer in its Special Investigations & Documentaries Unit in Washington, D.C.

Internship runs from June 6 to August 12 and pays minimum wage. College credit is also available. Applicants must be enrolled in college and have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship.

CNN Special Investigations and Documentaries is CNN's Peabody and Emmy award-winning investigative and documentary unit. This intern will shadow and observe the unit’s producers, video editor and managing editor in the Washington Bureau. The intern will learn how to conduct research, assist in production, and develop stories for long-form documentaries and short-form investigative pieces. The intern will also assist with video and photo research and whenever possible accompany producers on shoots in the field in the Washington area. Reporting experience and basic production skills are helpful. Interns need to be available during the week.

By March 6, apply online.
