Paid summer internship with CNN's John King

CNN is offering a paid summer internship on John King's show.

Internship is based in Washington, D.C., runs from June 6 to August 12 and pays minimum wage. College credit is also available. Applicants must be enrolled in college and have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship.

John King is anchor of CNN’s 7 p.m. ET program, John King, USA, and CNN’s Chief National Correspondent. Interns will learn how Team King plans stories and executes package production and lives. Interns will shadow and assist producers working with John King. They will also receive assistance from the Team if they would like to work on a story of their own. Intern duties include research, fact-checking, tapes logging, assistance with interviews and participation at press events. Interns should come away with sharper editorial and writing skills, exposure to leading technology and an increased knowledge of the U.S. government and political system.
