Summer internship @ Village Voice in NYC
The Village Voice, a 250,000-circulation alternative weekly newspaper in New York City, is offering paid summer internship.
Tell New Yorkers where to go and what to do in the city each week as an intern in the Village Voice's calendar department. Duties include pitching ideas to the editors of the calendar section, fact-checking event listings, researching events at various venues, writing brief event descriptions for our website, and contributing short weekly entertainment pieces (which do pay a little) to our Voice Choices section in print.
To apply, e-mail your résumé and clips (if you have them) to Angela Ashman at aashman@villagevoice.com.
