Reporter job @ Maine newspaper

The York County Coast Star, a weekly newspaper covering the communities of Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells and Ogunquit in Maine, is seeking a full-time, deadline-driven reporter who can cover the Kennebunks for us, filing daily stories and photos for our online site and posting content to social media sites as well.

You'll know how to write news pieces with authority and context and tell people's stories with passion and flair. You'll own your beat, pitch ideas and understand what good community reporting is all about. You won't get rich at this job (though you will have good benefits), but you will learn, cover a great community and have the opportunity to craft some really cool stories. You'll be a part of the team that is determined to make this paper better.
