Assistant editor job @ Seattle wedding magazine

Junebug Weddings (, a popular online wedding magazine with an exclusive membership of luxury wedding professionals from around the world, has a job opening in its Seattle office for a tech-savvy writer to assist its Executive Editor in researching and developing content for its blogs while being the editorial liaison for its member businesses.

Position is part-time, 20 hours per week, with opportunity for full-time. Click here for more details.

Responsibilities include helping to promote company's objectives through blog articles and online social networking sites. Duties assigned by the Executive Editor will include:
-Researching and drafting blog articles on topics like wedding fashion trends, design ideas, photography, and event planning
-Interviewing wedding professionals
-Providing member care and customer service follow-up
-Creating and managing calls for submissions
-Responding to e-mails, blog comments, tweets and Facebook posts
-Monitoring and updating social networking platforms
-Working on various administrative and organizational projects
-Attending industry and networking events
