Paid summer internship @ daily newspaper near Seattle-Tacoma

The Kitsap Sun, a 32,000-circulation daily newspaper located 30 miles northwest of Tacoma, is offering a paid summer journalism internship.

Applicants should be a junior or senior in college, with other internship experience or a writing/editing position on a school newspaper or website. Duties of the internship may include reporting and writing, photography, videography and editing, and using social media, as part of a newsroom staff of 20 which values flexibility, creativity, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. The dates of the internship are approximately May through August, with flexibility to accommodate class schedules. Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License is required.
