Paid summer TV internship @ CNN en Espanol in Miami

CNN en Español, a 24-hour Spanish language news network, is offering a paid summer internship in its Miami newsroom. The 12-week internship runs from June 4 to August 10, pays minimum wage and college credit is available.

Interns will learn how CNN en Español plans stories and orchestrates live news coverage and daily programming. Interns will assist the Producers, Editors, and Writers. Intern duties include research, fact-checking, tapes logging, assistance with interviews, and more. Interns should come away with sharper editorial skills, exposure to leading technology, and an increased understanding of the ethical aspects involved in journalism.

Qualifications: At least 3 years of college in a field directly related to Journalism, Broadcast, Social Studies. Expert fluency in Spanish. Fluent or highly proficient in English. Back ground in the Entertainment world. Applicants must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, applicants may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship.
