Web producer job @ CBS News in NYC

CBS News is looking for a web producer in New York City to join its website's parenting section. The producer will handle producing, editing and uploading original and repurposed content from CBS News, affiliates and wire services.

Candidates need a strong eye for detail with the ability to generate interesting angles on trends and breaking news related to parenting. Candidates also need to have a firm grasp of CBS News standards and a strong journalistic background. A keen eye for what works in the digital space and a willingness to experiment is a must.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree and journalism experience required
- Passion for parenting-related news
- Ability to generate original ideas
- Strong news judgment with an eye for trends
- Writing and editing experience and the ability to write accurate and catchy headlines is a must
- Ability to multitask effectively and operate under deadline pressure
- Team-oriented, with strong communication skills
- Must successfully pass a background check
