Paid 6-month sports journalism internship with Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos are offering a paid sports journalism internship. The internship runs from mid June through the end of the 2012 season, including playoffs. A monthly stipend will be provided during the internship.

The intern will be responsible for: updating website content, including daily stories, player bios and roster, game day content, etc; collecting player-related content, including Fan Q&As, blogs, features, video, audio and photos; preparing and sending wireless and email updates; and writing feature articles and news items for team publications, including Broncos Gameday and Broncos Magazine.

Applicants must be a current student or recent graduate and have a minimum of two years experience as a student working for a college newspaper, website, college sports information office or in a communications department of a sports organization. Web savvy, including familiarity with social media, is also essential.
