Spring journalism internships @ New York City weekly newspaper

The Queens Chronicle, a 160,000-circulation weekly newspaper in New York City, seeks interns for its Rego Park newsroom. Internship starts immediately.

Interns will write articles for the paper and take photographs, along with various other newsroom duties 2-3 days per week. Candidates should be adept at writing in AP style and working with an editor. An ability to function well on deadline in a busy environment is a definite plus. $500 stipend will be paid at the end of 12 weeks.
