CNN hiring journalism graduate students for entry-level trainee program

Graduate students studying broadcasting or journalism students can apply for CNN's entry level training program.

The CNN's Newsgathering Master Fellowship gives young journalists the opportunity to perform the duties of an assignment editor/producer in the newsgathering operation of CNN’s Washington, D.C. bureau. Fellows also receive mentoring.

Assignment editors participate in the planning and execution of news coverage. They do extensive research, screen tape and assist in the shooting and editing of stories. Producers cover events, write stories for the CNNWire and CNN.com and produce packages for air.

They will also be mentored by some of the most talented producers and correspondents working at CNN today.
