New York, a weekly, 400,000-circulation magazine covering the culture, politics and style of New York, seeks freelance copy editors to help out from time to time on special projects. The part-time position is based in Manhattan.
"Copy editors will edit blog posts, section pages, event listings, and newsletters in a fast-paced environment," the ad states. "Must have a strong command of grammar and an eye for detail. Should be familiar with Words Into Type. Experience using Movable Type and Dreamweaver a plus."
