Paid photo-editing internship in Hong Kong
TIME magazine's Asia edition is offering a paid photojournalism internship.
The internship is based in Hong Kong, runs 3 months and pays a monthly stipend. Note that it involves editing photos, not taking them. Internships are available beginning in June, as well as later in the year.
The intern will be "tasked with photo research for daily web stories, and travel and art stories for the print magazine," the ad states. "Interns will be working with different departments within the magazine - the art, production, and edit departments, as well as correspondents and photographers around Asia, and photo agencies around the world. This will be a good opportunity to learn the workings of a news magazine as well as the world of editorial photography. This is a photo editing internship. There will be no opportunities to take pictures for the magazine."
To apply, e-mail maria_wood@timeasia.com with your letter of intent, resume and photo editing clips.
