      Alabama Public Radio, Alabama's NPR affiliate, seeks a political reporter to cover state government in Montgomery.
"This new staff member will specialize in covering the Alabama legislature and state government," the ad states. "APR is operated by the University of Alabama, so staff members are able to pursue higher education. Vested employees can also receive a state pension. APR is a statewide NPR affiliate, most recently honored with a National Edward R. Murrow Award."
