Paid summer journalism internship covering trucking
The Truck Writers of North America are offering paid internships during Summer 2011 for broadcast reporting and magazine reporting. The internship runs 9 to 12 weeks and provides a $2,500 stipend. Internship placements are available at the following places:
- Land Line Now Radio, a daily news and information radio program designed specifically for America’s truck drivers and based in Grain Valley, Missouri.
- Successful Dealer Magazine, a Des Plaines, Illinois-based magazine written exclusively for truck and trailer dealers, leasing companies and truck body and equipment dealers.
- Truck Parts & Service Magazine, a Des Plaines, Illinois-based magazine written for independent truck service and repair operations, independent truck parts distributors, truck stops and the parts and service departments at new truck and trailer dealerships.
