Apply for a 3-day science journalism fellowship in San Diego
Journalists and writers have the exciting opportunity to apply for the Spring 2012 Kyoto Prize Journalism Fellowship that is part of Point Loma Nazarene University ’s mission to provide modern education in the sciences and reflective education in philosophy, society, and the arts.
The selected journalist will travel to San Diego , March 20-22, 2012, to attend the 27th annual Kyoto Prize ceremony, VIP presentations, laureate lectures and workshops. During their stay, the fellow will have opportunities to interview the latest Kyoto Prize laureates and interact with Point Loma Nazarene University ’s top journalism students. The fellowship covers transportation, accommodations, and per-diem expenses. The application deadline is February 16, 2012, and applications are currently available.
The fellowship is available to working journalists or freelance writers based in the U.S. who hope to further their knowledge and depth of reporting in technology, science and the arts.
