Paid journalism internship @ San Francisco Business Times

San Francisco Business Times, a 21,500-circultion weekly newspaper that covers business news in the Bay Area, is offering paid editorial internships.

Interns report and write stories for both the print edition and web site as well as proofread and conduct research. The internship is for approximately 30-40 hours per week and pays $12 an hour.

The paper covers real estate, nonprofits, biotechnology, health care, finance, technology, sports and green business. Our website -- sanfranciscobusinesstimes.com -- also features local business and industry news.

You need:
-Solid journalism experience at a student newspaper and/or an internship at a newspaper, magazine or web site. Business journalism experience is a plus. This means you need published clips.
-Strong command of English grammar, usage and punctuation.
-To be dependable and organized.
-To be detail-oriented.
-To be available at least 30 hours per week.
-To be accustomed to working in a team atmosphere.
-To be in possession of a sense of humor and strong people skills.
-Knowledge of the Bay Area (Local applicants are preferred)
