Paid internship @ Honduras' magazine
Bay Islands Voice, a monthly magazine that covers the Honduran islands, offers paid internships in both reporting and photojournalism.
Internships are full-time, last 4 months and are available year-round. Interns receive a monthly stipend of $600 -- not much, but apartments cost only about $250-$350 per month. The magazine will assist in locating housing.
"Interns have an opportunity to gain reporting experience, understanding of working in a small news magazine and create a portfolio of writing and photo clips," the magazine's website states. Current students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
