Paid summer internships @ Minneapolis Star Tribune

The Minneapolis Star Tribune, a 295,000-circulation daily newspaper, is offering paid newsroom internships for Summer 2011. Internships are available for reporters, copy editors, photographers, designers and multimedia journalists.

DETAILS:
• Most successful applicants have completed their junior year in college, work for a college news outlet and have interned at a smaller paper.
• Interns are paid the same as a first-year professional, which is $692 a week.
• Senior writers and editors hold weekly brownbag lunches to speak with interns about building key skills.
• We provide a real-world experience in a major daily news environment.
