Summer internships @ Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and its sister papers in Western Pennsylvania plan to hire several newsroom interns in summer 2011.
In 2010, The Trib offered internships in news writing, sports, photography, copy editing and multimedia. We expect the lineup to be similar in 2011. Most internships are based in the Trib’s main newsroom on Pittsburgh’s North Shore. The Trib, circulation 197,000 and growing, is in one of the few American cities with competing, independently owned newspapers.
A car and driver’s license are required. Experience on a college news operation or previous internships are preferred.
To apply, mail a cover letter, resume and work samples to: Mark Gruetze, Administrative Editor, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, 503 Martindale Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
