Paid photojournalism internship @ Roanoke Times
The Roanoke Times, a 100,000-circulation daily newspaper in Virginia, is offering a paid 10-week photojournalism internship will run from March to May. Hurry, the deadline is this Monday, February 21, 2011.
This is an advanced internship where you will be working on daily assignments as well as stories and multimedia projects. Current students and recent graduates are eligible. Our interns are treated as staff photographers and are closely supervised and coached. You will cover a wide range of daily assignments and be strongly encouraged to find and produce daily and in-depth stories.
Applicants must have digital camera equipment, a valid driver’s license and a car in good working order. Multimedia and video experience is expected.

Submit a portfolios demonstrating exceptional ability in progressive visual storytelling through the use of still images, Soundslides, video and multimedia presentations will stand out. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a creative team is essential.
