Paid photography internship @ InStyle

InStyle, a 1.7-million circulation magazine covering today’s fashion, parties and celebrities, is seeking a photo intern for its website. Position is based in New York City.

Duties:
• Assist photo department with photo production (cropping, color correction, photo composition)
• Perform photo research (celebrities, fashion, beauty, award shows, etc.)
• Assist photo department with administrative tasks

Qualifications:
• Have strong knowledge in Photoshop plus easily learn other computer applications
• Have a strong interest in fashion, beauty, entertainment, shopping, as well as the Web and other digital platforms
• Experience in graphic design a plus
• Be a team player, self starter, comfortable in a corporate office environment
• Have strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and fast turnarounds daily
Candidate will be trained in Time Inc.’s internal Content Management System.
